These Terms & Conditions outline how services are provided by Stevie’s Hound & Home, LLC. By booking services, using the website, or scheduling appointments, you agree to the following terms. My goal is always to provide thoughtful, reliable care while ensuring expectations are clear for everyone involved.

1. Services

I provide in-home pet care, dog walking, house sitting and home check-ins, plant care, and photography services. Service details, availability, and pricing are outlined at the time of booking.

2. Consultations

Some services such as first-time pet care, overnight stays, and plant repotting require a consultation prior to booking. This helps ensure care expectations are aligned and allows me to prepare appropriately.

3. Payments

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout or invoicing. Any additional services requested beyond the original booking may be billed separately.

4. Cancellations & Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so as early as possible using the booking system or by contacting me directly. Cancellation terms are presented at booking and may vary depending on the service and timing.

5. Client Responsibilities

To provide the best care, clients agree to:

  • Share accurate and complete information about pets, home access, routines, and any special needs

  • Ensure keys, codes, or access instructions are provided before services begin

  • Keep contact and emergency information up to date

Clear communication helps everything run smoothly.

6. Safety & Care Approach

I take a safety-first approach to all services, including attentive supervision, proper leash management, and awareness of surroundings. I am knowledgeable in pet CPR and first aid and remain focused during care visits to prioritize safety.

While I always exercise reasonable care, clients understand that animals, homes, and natural environments carry inherent unpredictability, and no service can be completely risk-free.

7. Home & Plant Care

Home and plant care services may include tasks such as watering, mail collection, basic oversight, and general check-ins as agreed upon. I care for homes and plants respectfully and attentively but cannot be responsible for issues related to pre-existing conditions, weather, pests, or structural factors outside my control.

8. Visit Updates & Photos

Most services include brief written updates and photo summaries. These updates may feature pets, plants, or areas of the home relevant to the service and are shared for reassurance, transparency, and continuity of care.

9. Insurance & Liability

I maintain business insurance to support responsible service delivery. My responsibility is limited to exercising reasonable care consistent with the nature of the services provided. Clients agree that liability, if any, is limited to the scope of the booked service.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected through bookings or communication is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.

11. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on the website, and continued use of services indicates acceptance of any updates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
